Bedford SB/Wilsdon PE Birmingham LVP118

late 1970s Norman Tarling photograph. This style is a personal favourite. I believe this may have been preserved at The Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Trust museum (BMMOT) Wythall. Taff Madsen has posted a number of Birmingham appliances on this site including SBs. Compare with a Cambridgeshire example of the same type my picture 22239 where you get a good view of the rear and the curvy lines. Cambs had 4 of these SB Wilsdon. One was preserved at Weedon. Cambs then changed to the 4x4 type Bedford R which you can see at picture 20607.
