This village has a population of under 10, 000 and the fire service has 48 active volunteers, all responding from a single station.

The firefighting apparatus fleet includes this pump and another older Atego pumper, along with a command vehicle. Special-purpose units include a heavy rescue (RW2), a BA tender, a special extinguishing media unit (foam, dry powder, CO2), a hazmat rig, a tanker, a hose layer, a boat and a lighting trailer, as well as a general-purpose transport truck.

These specials are assigned to the village volunteer station, but are also intended to be available to respond to incidents in surrounding communities, as required.

The volunteers are divided into three separate groups, which can be called out separately or together, depending on the apparatus and manpower needed to complete the turnout. They respond to around 300 calls a year.
