Bedford RL/ Haydon Cambs SCE118mid 1970s this is the 4x4 rural specification, with aluminium finish. Cambridgeshire commonly bought 4x4 pumps in the 1960s, presumably for the wet ground of the fens, an area reclaimed from marshland.
Haydon was a Birmingham based fire engineering company. The hosereels were wound from just inside the cab via normal handle. Both Alastair and myself captured same appliance on same day on 1970s Fire Brigade Society visit to old Parkside fire station, Cambridge! see

Do you know if these had a 400 gallon tank like the rear wheel drive Bedfords, or were they limited to 300 like the AFS 4X4 Green Goddesses, which also had single rear wheels and tires?
