Film set Philadelphia FD Ambulance

To go with picture 29161, This is a Ford F350 ex Los Angeles Fire Department Ambulance, that was made up to look like a Philadelphia FD Medical unit for a Tom Cruise film which was shot in Glasgow in the winter of 2011. It is seen here in the "USA Cop-Cars Ltd"'s High Holden showrooms on 05/07/2012. Aparently, as it was used as a stationary film dressing piece, the Engine was removed to save the Film Company paying import Tax on it, so it is a Non-Runner. Note Philadelphia don't use Blue lights on their Emergency Vehicles!

This is actually a E350 "Super Duty", a specialized version of the E350 chassis cab beefed up for ambulance duty.

The E350 more commonly appears as a panel van or window van, while the F series are pickup chassis.
