Yip I have fond memories having used sinilar in Scotland in the seventies and early eighties, the wounderfully airy and superb vision cab although the gearstick was overley long gearstick sticks in my mind but compared to todays cabs roomi ess and airiness and ease of entry and exit that they could take some lessons from them.

Carmichael also built this design on Bedford, Commer, Dodge, Ford and Karrier chassis.

The numbers were not very high, probably because this was more expensive than building a crew cab and body on to an existing factory chassis cab or cowl.

Always associated the Vista-Vue name with Leyland LAD cab like this, did Carmichael also use the name for theirs ? -
