It was our olf foam salvage tender, originally in dayglow orange. In the late 80's early 90's most of the slavage equipment was removed with the exception of water vacuums, to make way for the high exoansion foam equipmet.

The vehicle was sprayed red and re striped when the vehicle left cannock to go to burton where it was used as a national rivers damage limitation unit until we had our prive movers in the late 90s

The sister to this was a bedford there were only 2 in the county.

Replaced by a MAN foam unit pod at cannock on an L plate chassis and that has now been replaced by a six wheel foam water carrier.

The sister FoST to this was indeed a Bedford KG/Benson, PRE 441W, and it was based at Burslem and can be seen (sort of) on picture 20723.

This vehicle has been converted to a gully emptyer for a company called Billy Bowie and I seen it at truckfest edinburgh this year.
