Ford D series ET or B.A.T?

This was seen at Kirkby Steven at the rally there in April a couple of years ago. I'm sure it's either an Emergency Tender or a Breathing Apperatus Tender from Staffordshire. Any further details are welcome.

This appliance is from 1980(reg-JVT471V)and was a Ford D1114-Benson Foam/Salvage Tender.
The appliance was originally based at the old Hednesford Road fire station in Cannock until 1994,then converted to what was called a Damage Limitation Unit and was then based at High Street,Burton-Upon-Trent.Not sure when this went out of service and into preservation.

Staffs did have a Ford ET similar in design, based at Stafford but it was written off in an RTA.

Stafford indeed did have an almost identical appliance to this. It ran as an Emergency Tender until one day, while racing along Wolverhampton Road as it responded to an M6 RTA, it met with a double set of railings, a railway track enbankment, and finally, some allotments!

The vehicle differed in that it had black wheels, three roller shutters instead of the two hinged lockers, and it had red and white chequers around the roof, for when acting as a Control Unit. It too had a day-glo paintjob. Not convinced, but I believe it carried the reg PRE 442W.
