Nice to see my old fire engine 997 NUO is still around I bought this scruffy for £350 a bargain really but it was always a silver sided one with a red front it was in service with Devon Fire Service and stationed at Colyton.

The Isle of Sodor is fictional from the Thomas the Tank engine books. But the bishop of the Isle of Man is called in real life the Bishop of Sodor and Man - so there! See picture 20965.

This appliance was on ebay in January this year. The listing said that it had been used at Thomas the Tank Engine Land in Manchester, hence the nameplate.

Glad, that you guys above, came up with "Thomas The Tank Engine" railway stories connection.

I was getting a little worried; hearing the chuffing of British steam locomotives and the voice of Ringo Starr reading on the videos.....so it wasn't Mysterious Voices, after all!

hi to you all I now have this fire engine and it is back on ebay now and the auction end on 0/12/2015 I would like this to go to new home as my ill side of thing as can not do anymore work on ther now someone out would buy it and bit of history to this that come with it wood like to sell for £3550.00

Hi alan. Again the work as start it on her on 08/01/2016 had to spend £1500.00 to get her back on the road she will back on road in may this year which is 2016 as she off the road june 2008 ware she was in a yard near m25 very near north to london

just to let you all no I have just spent in on her now £2,950 on work and now the road test as it is does not need mot and is free from tax
