Ford D series Carmichael Fire engine

This is another mystery. Dispite my efforts, I couldn't trace it's origins. I photographed it at a Transport Museum somewhere, then forgot all about it.All I know is that it's a Carmichael bodied Ford 'D' series.

Judging by the registration number, it probably is an ex Cumbria Fire Service appliance from 1975/6.

This was photographed at Brough during the Eden Valley Vehicle Rally otherwise known as The Kirkby Stephen Rally at Easter 2007 or 2008. I took a similar photo. It went into Industrial Service after it was retired from the fire brigade.
