Just in shot to the left is PAJ 576R ERF 84ps 100 foot Metz Turntable ladder.And YVN 67Y Shelvoke and Drewry 100 foot turntable ladder, was based at Harrogate fire station but was spare TL when photographed here. The Merryweather ladders on this vehicle came off a 1957 ex York City AEC turntable ladder (OVY 200) re - chassied by G & T Power. The very first Merryweather all hydraulic turntable ladder in the UK. Photo taken outside York City Centre fire station. Please excuse the poor quality of the photograph.
