This DAF FF1300DT340 with Den Hartog-Ziegler bodywork was employed by the voluntary fire brigade of Born (Netherlands) with callsign 2643

One of a vast array of used fire trucks from numerous countries, which have found their way to Cuba. These turn out alongside a large number of often quite elderly Russian ZIL units, which were for many years just about the only fire trucks to be seen in the country...

This Club of Four DAF still has its white "belly bandage", which used to be a standard feature of fire truck liveries in the Netherlands - while the Cuban ZILs do not seem to have the white stripes their Russian counterparts all have. In both cases, the choice was probably to save a few pennies...
