Was this another rear or mid engined appliance with a front mounted pump like the ill-fated Leyland Firemaster?

Hi Rob. Ours in the SAMFS were rear engined, a V8 Perkins diesel (they sounded sensational) and the pump was at the very front beneath a lift up panel, the handle for this can be seen just above the rego plate.

Thanks Paul! Do you happen to have any other information about this unusual rig, such as pump capacity, tank size and how many crew could squeeze into the two door crew cab? Did it carry any ground ladders? It is certainly a different approach to mainstream fire pump design, and I have to wonder what it was like to work with….
