Buckinghamshire Unimog 4x4

Three of these impressive Mercedes Unimogs are in use with Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue; their sparge pipe facility and 'go anywhere' capability make them ideal for cornfield fires. V967 RJO is the newest and is currently on the run from Great Holm but was based at Winslow when photographed participating in the 2004 Buckingham Christmas Parade.

If I remember rightly there has been one incident to mind which one of these unimogs got stuck in a field whilst out on a shout - apparently it had to be towed out with a tractor.
still that asside they are considerably a lot better than the old gmc double cabs that bucks used to have.
