Waiuku Volunteer Fire Brigade - New Zealand
Nigel Capon's picture 9166 of the latest Iveco Fire Appliance being supplied to Volunteer Brigades in the 'land of the long white cloud' brought me up with a bit of a start. In 2007 I was at this very fire station and my life-long friend Mike Culpin positioned both pumps for a photo shoot. Obviously KZ9776 has been re-assigned? The thriving community of Waiuku is situated south of the City of Auckland in prime dairy cattle country. But the residents take their fire brigade very seriously which is evident by the waiting list of volunteers lining up to be part of the team. Volunteer Brigades in NZ are supplied with the best of equipment which is evident in this well maintained Inter 1800 series,,,,
