Most Mack MC pumpers with crew cabs had a canopy, similar to what was commonplace on the ubiquitous Ford C series. This one has a separate closed crew cab, preserving the driver's cab tilting facility. Some others had either split-tilt or full tilting styled-in cabs, and Port Washington on Long Island had three, but these were relatively few and far between. The MC was winding down as the trend to enclosed crew cabs was gaining momentum.
