West Sussex FB 1983 Dennis RS133

1983 Dennis RS133 Water Tender Ladder of the West Sussex Fire Brigade which had a Perkins 640 V8 10.6 litre diesel engine was supplied new to the fire station at East Grinstead.The appliance remained on the run at East Grinstead until 1995,then the fire station at Burgess Hill until 1998,it then went into the reserve fleet until 2001.The appliance,still in the original livery of the West Sussex Fire Brigade before the new livery was introduced was photographed at the Amberley Fire Show in July 2008,the same year the appliance was bought and went into presevation.

Hi there, im the proud owner of the West Sussex RS, it actually went into preservation on 2001 but ended up with a London style livery. I bought the appliance in 2008 and returned it back to West Sussex livery.

The appliance has now recently changed hands & is now owned by myself, a fire-fighter at East Grinstead. I am using it to give rides at charity events & it will be out on the rally circuit next year as well.
