Hi Des,

This may sound a frivolous question, but believe me, it's not. The fact that there are two prime movers at Cirencester on HVPU work, suggests that their additional vehicle (from the last 48 distributed) is one of them. I know that WX54 VJL will be one of the two (and they also have WX54 VMP at Dursley.

Could you possibly look at the original hi-res version of your shot please, and advise me of the registration numner of the second PM ? (the registration number of which will also begin WX54)

I'm not speaking of the IRU, but the two prime movers.

I sincerely hope you mnay be able to help with this query.

Thanks in advance.

Me again Des !

Just to clarify, since the one on the left appears to be WX54 VJL, it's that on the right (between the railings) in which I'm particularly interested.

Sorry to be a nuisance.

Hi Ian

I can’t see the reg on my original pic as I took it with my phone, but I can tell you that the number on the side is 221, the number on the HVP prime mover being 042. I remember that as when it arrived a few months ago we had a little chuckle as it’s the same number as the callsign for our second pump.

I can tell you thou that its an additional one to the mover in Dursley, its so we are self sufficient at Cirencester. The mover in Dursley carry’s the pod for rob and re-rob for the IRU.

I’m Retained at Ciren so when I go in tomorrow night for drill I’ll take a look for you.
Incidentally the hose box stays in the cage you see de-mounted and the mover is housed in the third appliance bay. The pic was taken by me at the end of our open day just after I had parked up the HVP.

Hi Des,
Thank you, and this makes sense. PM.042 is the fleet number of the prime mover nearest the camera and is confirmed as Gloucestershire.
Your mention of 221 suggests the other one to be PM.221 - and if that is correct it will be WX54 VWG - which does still need to be accounted for.
I'm sorry to be a nuisance, but could you just confirm that in mentioning the figure 221, you are referring to the white PM.221 numbering on the cab doors please.
Thanks a lot.
