Fire Engines Photos

I'm surprised that the Merseyside Fire Museum has taken to putting their own signage/livery all over their vehicles. From what I remember, they used to preserve the vehicles properly, in their original condition. Is this a recent change, and does it apply to all the vehicles in their collection? I hope they haven't done this to the real classics...

This vehicle began life serving with Devon - see picture 4506 for it sister appliance in original Devon livery.
