2 of my local stations N22 Portstewart & N23 Portrush have both recently received these appliances to replace teir 1st away Dennis SS appliances (N22 NDZ 2502 rebuilt after rta in Coleraine, N23 FDZ 8944)

Was talking to a friend who is retained in N22 Portstewart station, hes has told me these Sidheon Teo Wrl appliances are no good & the Dennis SS237 it replaced was a far superior machine.

Nkz 9990 is listed as n22 portstewart wrl. They reckon it doesn't "handle" as well as the dennis ss237 & it seems to spend more time "off the run" with faults than it does at their station! I personally am not sure if this is true or not but I do know the spare coleraine "area" appliance (wdz 9919 volvo fl6 browns, ex northland) does seem to spend quite a bit of time at the 2 local stations, (n22 portstewart & n23 portrush), that have these sidheon teo appliances

These Volvo appliances seem to be utterly useless, when i did work expierience in lisburn control, i had a look round the workshops and one of the guys was telling me one of the FL250's which was just brand new at the time had come in as all its electricals had blown while going to a call, so everything electrical on the vehicle stopped working, dash lights, sirens etc... there all scrap, they should have stuck to Dennis appliances like the Sabre or Dagger, far better machines overall

speaking to some of the guys in Coleraine N21 and they seem to think the new fl250 they have is a good machine although theirs is a brown's machine not sidheon teo

Yes your correct NKZ8202 at N23 (PORTRUSH) but what a crap appliance..... Crew cab no room, appliance more time off the run than on.Very slow when movinging off......Bring back manuals less truble DENNIS hard to beat.
