Nottingham continued to buy rear mount pumps for use as pump escapes when this generation of appliances were replaced by AEC-HCB Angus units, as I seem to remember.
It seems odd, because most brigades specified mid mounts or rear mounts with side access for dual purpose units, to eliminate the need to slip the escape so as to be able to access the pump.
