A Water Rescue/Diving Unit. The chassis is a late 1970s/early 1980s Star 266 with bodywork by JZS (Jelczańskie Zakłady Samochodowe), type 541. These vehicles were used in multiple roles by the fire services, armed forces, etc. Star 266/JZS 541 was used for the roles of, among others, a diving unit (above), command unit ( jrg2.magar.pl/images/Samochody/bombaj.jpg ), mobile workshop ( www.firerescue.gallery.edh.pl/images/pojazdy_i_sprz__t/km_psp_warszawa/300w84-1.jpg ) and rescue unit.

I am Polish but I live in UK. I am a retained FF in Lincolnshire and I just got through to be wholetime in Edinburgh (starting training in July). So I assume that you are Polish as well, but do you live there? And how do you know all that? Are you a firefighter? You can write on my e-mail if you want 'cause there is no point in writing everything on this page. My e-mail: [email protected] or [email protected] or GG 2816149. Thanks
Konrad do they intend invading Russia in this? Glad I don't pay the fuel bill! Stacko, good luck with your training, you will never forget your retained days though, its the best part of the fire service!
