LP12 crew storing equipment after using

Seen here a crew of the LP12 crew storing the animal catching equipment at the suction hose stowage area. It suggest how long the equipment is. At his left hand is the snake hook which is used to hold and hook snakes once caught. Both equipment is Brunei FRD standard snake catching tools.

An addered responsibility which British firefighters rarely encounter!

The pole in his right hand looks like a dog catch pole.

A biting remark!

In both cases, the pole serves the same purpose - to distance the firefighter from the fangs.

Not something you want to have to do too often...
