Fire Engines Photos

Nice to see a picture of something a little different, especially something as old and well preserved as this German 1929??? Magirus.Can the date on this be right though when motorized vehicles had been around for some twenty years, I would'nt have thought the Germans of all people would still be producing what appears to look like a horse drawn fire engine???.

Pete, even in Holland they still built this kind of machines in the 20ties. So my guess is this can be a correct date.

Well, Pete is right, I am member of this particular firefighter squad and my former collegue wrote this all wrong. We bought this machine in year 1929 but unfortunately we don't know when was manufactured.
