Dennis F44 No 405 Fire Engine
We have purchased a Dennis F44 No 405 and have recently began to restore our engine and would like some information & history of the fire engine. We believe it was originally stationed at Newcastle or Sydney Australia and we would appreciate any assistance. Does anyone have comments about this Dennis. Can anyone also tell me how you refer to the fire engines are they a him or a her?

Steve, I can't remember which photo I put my last comment on now, anyhow, I meant to add in reference to your gender query, I'd probably be saying - "Isn't she a beautie?!" When referring to fire engines. But in your case, , she's looking a little more like a 'he' at the moment, , , , !

One day soon your engine will tell you it's name. The name will just leap out at you, and then you will know whether you have a boy or a girl!
