In the United States, Federal Fire Departments protect military installations using a mix of civilian and military firefighters. In 1982 all military installations in and around San Diego (a dozen or so) were merged into one agency. Truck 1 is a 2006 105' Pierce Rear-Mounted aerial with 1500 gpm pump.
