New to the Tyne and War Fire Brigade in 1977 this appliance spent the whole of it's working life at the Fossway Fire Station in the East End of Newcastle. Fitted with a Perkins V8 640 engine (perhaps the puff of exhaust smoke gives this away) it covered over 80,000 miles before passing into 'Driver Training' and then into preservation.
