FDNY Engine Co . 1) Seagrave JB 1000/500 Pumper
FDNY Engine Co 1).2001 Seagrave JB 1000/500 Pumper located with Ladder Co 24 at 142 West 31st Street in the Borough of Manhattan in the third division.Their first alarm district is mainly made up of high rise buildings and factories and includes the Empire State Building,Madison Square Garden,Macy's Department Store and many hotels.In 2005(example)Engine Company 1 was the 5th busiest engine company in Manhattan,and the 14th in the overall city.They responded to 4,821 alarms in 2005,of which 3,668 were workers,of these 1,990 were medical emergencies,in which they were the 1st in Manhattan and 2nd in the entire city.Their current apparatus replaced a simular Seagrave destroyed at the World Trade Centre on September 11th,2001.
