FDNY Ladder Co 24).1999 Seagrave model J 100ft Rearmount Aerial Ladder located with Engine Co 1 at 142 West 31st Street in the Borough of Manhattan in the third division.In the past,several special units including Water Tower 1,Searchlight 21,Department Ambulance 1,and High Ladder 1 have all been located in this firehouse.In recent years,Ladder 24 has been one of the busiest companies in the City of New York and as an example, in 2005 they responded to 4,003 alarms of which 3,005 were working jobs and in actual fact they were the 5th busiest ladder company in the Borough of Manhattan in 2005, and the 10th busiest in the city for that year.
