Fire Engines Photos

Hello,
I know this fire engine very well, i am still a member of the firebrigade of Boskalis and was the driver on this truck from 1991 till it went back to the firebrigade of Papendrecht.
In 2003 we became the owner of the old 238 fire engine of Papendrecht which is still in service by Boskalis.
Boskalis and the firebrigade of Papendrecht have a special bond with eachother, because our instructors are also members of the Papendrecht firebrigade.
We are hoping that there will be an exchange again in 2019, and that Boskalis becomes the fire engine which is in use by Papendrecht at the moment.
The only main problems we had in the 16 years of service within Boskalis was a overhaul of the firepump, and problems with the fuelpump of the motor, and exchange of the alternator and startermotor, these problems where in 1998 and 1999.

Wonderful marcel. Along with the Bedford TK/Somati, these were my favourite era's of Dutch fire engine production. Magical appliances.
