Sg. Kebun FRS, Brunei just received this 1993 Dennis DFD/SK Fire Water Tender Ladder no.24 (WRL 24). This WRL24 just received new stripes and also being overhauled.
Recently (March 2008) I was walking around at the BFRD Beribi FRS workshop and I found this WRL24 and another Dennis WRL (in sorry state) and a bus was parked at the workshop grassy area. Possibly those appliance is awatiting disposal.

Isn't it a shame that Brunei don't seem prepared to pull machines outside for photography - they've got some really interesting kit.

Actually the Brunei FRD stations usually pull out their appliances in the morning (6:45am-8:00am) for morning inspection. 9:00am-11:00am is for routine patrol. Anywhere, I will visit some stations/workshop this year and request them to park their appliances at the parade ground.

I thought it was perhaps just a case of them not being particularly "photographer friendly" !
