What experiences did FF Hermsdorf have with this model? The 1970s/1980s DL 30 on IFAs W50L are known as troublesome and unstable. Allegedly, there were even cases of the ladder 'collapsing' once set up. How does this model behave?

How much cheaper was it (if at all) than a Metz, Magirus or Camiva DLK at that time?

PS Is that a Lada Niva KdoW in the background?
