This 1963 ALF pumper was originally a standard low-side arraingment on the Left side. When it was refurbished in 1980, high-side compartments were added. It was restored in 2001 to serve as a parade truck and used by Fire Safety Education Div. This truck, IMHO, is what an American Fire truck is SUPPOSED to look like. Maybe even the best looking truck in the world?

It's a pity they mounted the siren there, would have obstructed the vision of the driver. But never the less, I have to agree, it is a very smart-looking truck. If you can get them to shift that 'growler' down onto the bumper I'll have to give some serious consideration as to whether it may just be the 'best looking truck in the world?!

Beautiful Truck!

An American classic! But I have to agree with Pavel. The siren positioning is more than a bit daft, and does nothing for the truck's appearance.
