Does anyone know what happened to this machine when it came out of service? Far too useful to be scrapped.

Barry, the rebuilt an ex prime mover in 1999, A954XOB into one similar to that of picture 1977 by replacing the engine for a more powerful one, adding a third axel, a 1982 Bro Wreckers underlift recovery boom (perhaps from the above appliance. Also added were some parts from disposed Dodge HP.
