Looks like a cut and shut with the two different liveries!

Sorry to be fussy - HX06 OMH is the first WTL at Worthing - call sign 0111. The second is HX06 GMO - 0112 - which is CAFS fitted along with 2nd pump at Crawley HX06 GMU). To be fair to the photographer it is shown outside the 2nd pump bay at Worthing - so may may have been running as the second at the time for some reason. Jon

Thankyou for your comments Jon.When I took this photograph at the stations Open Day in 2007 there was actually a pump in the 1st bay next to the watchroom,and so I assumed this was the 2nd pump.
I do wish they'd stop moving them around to try and confuse people,and very shortly they'll be all changing again when the new Scania's go on the run again to whole-time stations.Yet more confusion for us photographers trying to keep tracks on whats going where and when.

Hello all. HX06 GMO is second pump still and HX06 OMH is third away now. not sure why they've kept GMO for so long

Oliver, there are still several 06 reg vehicles in use.HX06 OMK-Bognor Regis, HX06 GMV-Crawley, HX06 GMO-Worthing, HX06 OMJ-Partridge Green and HX06 GZA is at Storrington.These are these oldest pumping appliances still on the run in West Sussex.

So the oldest appliances on-the-run in West Sussex are 06 plates? Lucky old Sussex! The oldest in Staffordshire are on 52 and 53 plates.

Oliver - HX06 GMO and HX06 GMU at Crawley were non standard compared to the rest of the West Sussex 06 batch as they were the first West Sussex appliances with CAFS and as such were allocated as the 2nd WTL at Worthing & Crawley as the only two full timed crewed 2nd pumps in the brigade - and have stayed as the 2nd pumps at these stations ever since as being non standard ( 1 CAFS & and one water hose reel) so not as easy to hand down as other appliances.. no other CAFS fitted appliances were delivered until the 2014. HX04 WGD is the 2nd (retained) pump at Shoreham and the oldest non reserve or training WTL in the brigade

Correction, the oldest front line pump is HX04 WGD
WRL(2)Shoreham, Scania P94D-260, CP28/JDC new to Bognor Regis, oldest reserve pump is V741 FCR Dennis"Rapier"SFD122/JDC WRL, new to Hurstpierpoint, then to the now closed Findon.

As John Godden stated HX06 GMO is Cafs fitted, both WRL(1) & WRL(2)at Worthing are so fitted, both W/T crewed, thats why its still there, same as at Crawley, both "06" Cafs are the hardest worked in the service.
