Do East Sussex still have this machine? I remember seeing it on the run at Broad Oak when they got their new station.

Yes it was there for a few years, it then went to battle as their second appliance to Brighton for a time following the firework factory fire and then into the reserve fleet. I think you will find it was running from newhaven as a reserve when this photo was taken. This appliance has now left the service. I think it may of been one of the appliances that were loaned to the fire service college following the major fire involving the appliance bays resulting in the loss of several appliances.
