1967 Oren PumperFront mount pumps were common to rural and suburban areas of the USA. Here is an example using a commercial International Harvester 185 chassis. This truck was for sale near my town but has since been sold to an unknown buyer.

The Front-Mount Pump very easy to hook-up and get pumping water.
Bet it has a water-tank to go with the Booster Reel; and a ladder goes above the hard-suction hose on Left-Hand side.
And the Spot-Lights are operated by hand from inside the cab, on each side.
There were so many around the country-side.
