Once again another brillant photo, you may like to know the following this appliance whilst on its second placement at Shoreham was repainted Fire Brigade
Yellow and completed its service in this colour being withdrawn from service being withdrawn the rear pump and various other fittings were removed with the vehicle going for scrap. The late Lee Peck and the Late Monty
Hands purchased the vehicle for the Benevolent Fund a pump was allocated from a
redundant Bedford Wrt and fitted and it was fully restowed. Monty changed the
front in the respect it was modified to have a complete red front and not a semi
stucco front as it had from being delivered from Dennis. The sister appliance was UPX 174 which was based at Chichester for most of its life before a conversion to the Brigade foam Tender in 1974. this machine was withdrawn in 1981 and was sold it was last heard of in Malta working within the Docks out there.
