Looks like the exact same pods on the Malaysia Scanias - any details about them?

Added by Nick on 22 November 2007.
A High Volume Pump (HVP) appliance consists of a Prime Mover (chassis, cab and hook-lift) and two de-mountable containers.
The first container holds the de-mountable HVP known as a Hydrosub and one kilometre of 150mm hose.
The second container holds a further two kilometres of 150mm hose. The Hydrosub is a hydraulically powered unit that can deliver a flow of up to 7, 000 litres of water per minute and can pump up to a head of 60 metres. The appliance is for flooding and firefighting incidents.

Thanks Harvey. I believe it is the same Pods as that on the Malaysian Scanias - although the Malaysia FRS call it a Hose Pod.

Hi Harvey! 3 call signs for 1 primemover? Why?? That jeans, that they has to report to the controlroom everytime they change from 1 pod to another, or has no pod loaded!!! Fore me it's a strange system!
