These reflected a national DIN standard, which called for a 5000 litre tank on a 4X4 single cab chassis. As with other standards, there was nothing to stop individual fire services from specifying additional capabilities, in this case a larger tank and a much enhanced foam capacity. The dual function roof monitor was also a custom addition. The 2400 LPM pump was the norm, however, reflecting the unit’s ability to pump very long distances if necessary.
