Tatra has a very impressive range of 4X4, 6X6, 8X8 and 10X8 chassis, which are widely used by military and fire services in many countries in a variety of roles, especially airfield firefighting. The two and three axle versions are also used as domestic fire tenders and tankers as well as brush units, and a trio are operated by San Diego FD here in the USA.
