These are assigned strategically to numerous stations as the second due pumper to large residential, commercial, industrial and institutional structural fire response assignments. As well as a high capacity pump, they have an enhanced foam capability, carry a 15 metre ladder, have a nine person crew and carry flaked 110mm LDH to hook up to high capacity hydrants and/ or initiate water supply relay operations. They are usually backed up by an FA tender, which has a two person crew, carries 2000 lirers of class B foam compound and has two kilometers of flaked 110mm LDH ready to be paid out in a hose layer role if needed.
