Like a lot of small European first responder light pumps, this was built on a luxury passenger car chassis more often used for custom bodied limousines. This was common, but not limited to Europe. After a fire at her Long Island estate, a grateful lady on one occasion donated her (American built) Rolls Royce limousine to the local volunteers for conversion into a fire engine! Several RR fire pumpers are also preserved in Switzerland.
