It seems most heavy rescues in Europe these days are built on standard cab chassis rather than having full crew cabs. In the US however, we still almost always see these rescue rigs with six or even sometimes even ten seat crew cabs, although FDNY and a few others like to have the crew seats in a center aisle rear entrance body rather than a “walk around” body style. These can reach over 12 metres in length and are most often on tandem axle chassis.
