These are very rare in the UK, and actually not even popular in Germany. They are very expensive, and their off road capabilities - which are almost as amazing as the smaller Unimogs - are generally not something fire services often need. They use Mogs for close attack work at forest and brush fires, and use conventional 6X6 chassis as nursery and backup tankers which stay on the forest trails or rural roads. This deployment is very similar in France, with 3000 or 4000 litre 4X4 brush trucks at the interface, and 6X4 or even 8X4 tankers in backup roles.
