Interesting to see the flaked hoses on pegs in the adjacent pumper’s side locker. This seems to be a more common approach in France than in some other places, especially for 110 mm LDH, which is often used for connection to high output hydrants.
By contrast, In Germany flat flaked layouts are often deployed for preconnected 52 mm fast attack hose lines, which have largely replaced high pressure hose reel systems. Now that Rosenbauer has introduced a SWB 32 metre ladder, I suspect it will become a best seller, as there can be few reasons to buy the longer alternative.
