1958 White Bruco Fire EngineThis is a Brumbaugh Company (BRUCO) fire engine that was built on a White Motor Company WC-28 chassis with a straight six 390A gasoline engine. From research it appears the chassis was most likely built in 1957 and Bruco built and released the fire engine to its first station on August 16, 1958. It was at Edgely, Fire Department in Edgely, PA. from 1958 to 1969. From there it went to Newport Fire Department in Bensalem, PA from 1969 to 1980. It's last fire station was Newport Fire Department in Newport, NJ from 1980 to 1991. Anyone who might have information on where I can research records for a White WC-28 from 1997, or might know the location of BRUCO records from 1958, can contact me by email or phone. (970) 379-2020. Thanks!
