Unusual to see a Western Ford Transit with the very characteristic white “ belly bandage “ which was a feature of all fire service units in the old DDR before reunification in 1990.

Nuremberg FD uses same livery until now

It is quite distinctive. Personally I really liked the old Singapore livery, which was all red with two white stripes. It was also very distinctive but managed to achieve an elegant simplicity which is not a characteristic of many current assemblies of stripes, chevrons or checks in multiple colors.

Just saw some Darmstadt fire service vehicles with the dual white horizontal stripes which is pretty much identical to the old Singapore livery. Some others had different livery, so I am not sure if this too may be a layout which has been superseded.
