Designed for coping with major industrial fires, these large 6X4 FMOGP tenders are in use with numerous French fire services, all with very similar specifications. These are in addition to the FA tenders, which carry 2000 liters of foam compound as well as 1600 meters of 110mm LDH. The fourgon mouse grande puissance tankers are nearly identical to the German GTLF concept - and similar trucks are also to be seen in large numbers in Poland and the Czech Republic, as well as cropping up in some other European fire services.Tanks vary a bit in size, and the mix between water and foam tank capacity is also sometimes different. The BMPM in Marseilles for example also have three 6X4 tankers with fire retardant for brush fires as well as both water and foam.

A few British fire brigades operate large tankers too, but it seems the foam tender with a large water tank on a maximum GVW tandem axle chassis is not to be seen. Although high capacity water tankers are very common in rural America, they are not usually equipped with foam tanks. Foam tenders here are usually focused exclusively on carrying foam, although of course some pumpers with water tanks also have foam tanks as well.
