This is an former right hand drive truck from UK, converted into left-hand drive one. A truck, among others, was donated in 2019. Vehicle number BI010E, former X238 CTX from the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. Poltava region, Ukraine. 2023.

It is actually quite common for ex UK Scanias to find their way into service in Eastern Europe. Not only does the brand have a well deserved reputation, but the Scania is one of the easiest to convert to LHD. I have seen conversions which forgot to switch the wipers, but this time they did them too! Because of other priorities, cost and complexity some of the other brand UK appliances supplied to Ukraine have not been converted, which is quite understandable.
