Same classic layout as the distinctive normal control Hotchkiss and Laffley versions, which were much more common. This example had a foam tank perched above the water tank, making it an “PSM”, but thus was not a feature of all of these. The pump was 1000 LPM, and the water tank was intended to supply a first aid 19mm hose reel. These were very common all over France, and intended to be the first responding unit, able to initiate rescue and suppression until the subsequent arrival of more powerful pumpers with larger crews, as well as trucks carrying longer ladders, including either 18 meter wheeled ladders or even larger turntables. The PS units had six seats, and were usually crewed by four to six firefighters.
